what am I doing here?

Reminded of Alice's thought when she landed at the bottom of the rabbit hole. As I skim the various blogs, I notice I'm probably 3X as old as the average poster, so be reassured your blogs make for interesting reading. I have no tatoos, 3 gran chillun & love to read or write.Currently about 1/3 into an Anthony Trollope. can't gurantee I'll finish it, but also getting my attn is a collection of Isaac Bashevis Singer's stories ----quite an education.

I write letters to the Ed of 3 papers here which often get published. I recommend the practice. It requires discipline to get published, crazies aren't too successful, to be able to make your point in concise language, maybe avoid certain topics like xtreme politics or religion. Sometimes I write a letter to a columnist i agree or disagree with---but don't expect a reply---they're pretty busy.
