stuck in Iraq?

my take on all of what seems to be swirling about these days revolves around a pullout from Iraq.

My personal belief is that a pullout was never in the cards. My reading of the situtation is that our shadow govt. Richard Pearle, Paul Wolfowitz and possibly Abrams were able to convince Current Occupant that the plan was to attck, invade and occupy Iraq. Withdrawal was never part of the original plan, probably still isn't.
