well, o.k. i was considering the question of whether our older cat might get on the waiting list to join the Harlem boys choir. we are aware from the outset (get go) there are formidable obstacles. To begin, Billie is a she. BUT TOTALLY BLACK. i have only ever heard her sing, very muffled, not a clear tune, so she would have to be evaluated. In complete honesty, i as her mentor/owner must confess, i really dont know how she could contribute. BUT she's agreeeable, docile, but to get her to her singing would be yr problem.

i have taken to addressing her whenever i get chance---'you're adopted'. i have mentioned to her, 'if she will sing, i will teach her to talk.' but so far no results. it is plain from eye contact etc. that she has alot to say but, so far conv. w/ her is one-way.
